Limerick General Advertiser

Rewards

Whereas, since the outrage committed on my Dwelling House, on the night of the 19th Sept. last, (as heretofore advertised,) one of my out-Offices, containing Property to a large amount, was malicously set fire to and consumed, on the night of the 15th inst, also, a fat Cow was stolen from off my Demesne on the night of the 24th Instant, and a few nights after, one of the Iron Gates of my Demesne was broke open, with a view, I suppose, to steal more of my fat Cattle.
Now, in order ti bring to condign punishment the Perpetrators of these repeated acts of Outrage, I will pay the following Rewards, in addition to that of the 19th of September last, to any person who will prosecute to conviction the Perpetrators of the said Outrage, within six Months from the date hereof, viz. — Burning the Office, Fifty Guineas—Stealing the cow, Twenty Guineas— Breaking the Gate, Ten Guineas.
I will also most amply Reward any Person who will give private Information, which will lead to a detection of the Ruffians, and will keep the name of the Person giving such information private.

Charles CONYERS
Castletown Conyers, Oct. 30. 1813.

Feeling, as we do, extreme adhorrence, at suuch repeated acts of atrocity, wanton and unprovoked as they were, We promise to pay the Sums annexed to our Names on conviction of the Villiains guilty of said \ Outrages, within the period above-mentioned.

We, the Parish Priest, Curate and principle Roman Catholic Land-holders of Castletown Conyers, do Promise to pay the sums annexed to our respective Names (amounting to 350 Guineas,) on conviction of the Person or Persons who lately committed such daring Atrocities on the Residence and Office of Chas CONYERS, Esq. and we lament that such foul Crimes should be perpetrated on a Gentleman so deservedly entitled to our best respect and esteem, and whose character, as a Neighbour and Landlord, stands most conspicuous — And we do collectively and individulally promise to use every exertion to disover the Perpetrators of Crimes which disgrace our Parish. — Dated this 1st November 1813.
Signed for ourselves, and on the part of the
