Consistorial Court Limerick
Elizabeth LLOYD, v Thos Bateman LLOYD, Esq
her husband

This cause, which has been for a long time pending in our Consistorial Court, came on to be heard yesterday before the Rev. Chancellor HOARE, Vicar General of the diocese, when the court made its final decree, and read sentance accordingly, by which Thomas Bateman LLOYD has been ordered to pay to said Elizabeth his Wife, the sum of one guinea weekly, as alimony or separation maintenance, commencing the 23d August 1811, and all the costs of suit, and separation from bed and board decreed.
This decision is of the utmost importance to Mrs. LLOYD and her issue, as it determines the right of her children to the property on the death of the father, who is tenant for life, and who contested the validity of the marriage, which was had in Quebec, of which city Mrs. LLOYD is native.  The Court was limited in the amount of alimony, from the nature of Impugnant's property.
Proctor for Mrs. LLOYD, George DARTNELL, Esq
Proctorfor Mr. LLOYD, Bryan M'MAHON, Esq
