On Saturday we went to Les Bistronnes in Campbell. We started with a couple glasses of bubbly and the above dish of cold smoked trout with pickled vegetables.
We then had a Chateaubriand washed down with a young Hill Tops Shiraz. No picture of the Chateaubriand. The above is my desert a poached pear.
The above is Robyn's Fondant au chocolat. We shared a glass of rotten wine – excellent.
Sunday we headed to Mudgee. We intended to go to Port Douglas but this was stopped by the Queensland government. So rather than enjoying the heat in North Queensland we drove through the snow between Goulburn and Bathurst. A bit of a contrast.
